Halcyon Interiors helps Beaconsfield High School celebrate 50th anniversary
Local grammar school Beaconsfield High School will host a sensational ball later this month as its grand finale to a year of 50th Anniversary celebrations and fundraising.
The event, to be held on Saturday 24th June, will see more than 200 guests in attendance and Halcyon Interiors is proud to be sponsoring the champagne on arrival.
There will be fine dining and musical performances by local band Chemistry and the stage sponsor Sharpe Academy of Theatre Arts. The event headline sponsor is Gerrards Cross based solicitors and community supporter BP Collins.
Guests can look forward to sophisticated touches throughout the evening, including a transformed school hall and exceptional performances from the student string quartet. There will also be a live auction after dinner, which launches online first on Monday 12th June to enable those who couldn’t buy tickets for the sold out event to still enjoy some of the fun. Lots generously donated include an exquisite afternoon tea at The Ivy Marlow Garden, a bespoke three-piece suit and a private champagne tour of Cliveden House.
The school’s community of parents, staff and students have come together to organise the event, with talents including parent florists and interior designers on the dedicated decorations team, a student pianist playing during dinner and the professional creation of signage, event programme and table plans by the school’s Graphic Design teacher.
This fantastic combined effort is set to raise at least £15,000 for the school’s vital improvements to its learning environment.
Rachel Smith, Headteacher, comments: “With the reality of cuts to school funding starting to bite, the collaboration of the school community and our loyal local supporters is essential in ensuring we can offer an advanced experience for our students. Our 50th Anniversary celebrations have been so wonderfully supported and a fantastic reflection of how far the school has come, and I am certain we will continue to see further evolution as we work with our community to create a remarkable learning environment.”
