Designer/Salesperson position

Halcyon Interiors is one of the most highly regarded kitchen companies in the industry and this is your opportunity to join us at one of our most exciting times since our beginnings in 1981. The recent introduction of prestigious furniture manufacturers to our portfolio extends the potential within our established showrooms.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our professional design team working at our Hatch End and Beaconsfield showrooms. Hatch End is our founding showroom and Beaconsfield showroom situated in the old town, both sit alongside numerous home furnishing studios and popular restaurants.

At Halcyon Interiors we are proud to have grown organically and continue to build on these strengths. Client satisfaction is paramount to us and with a dedicated team of designers, installation and support teams we achieve this.

The specific role is:

Designer/Salesperson working between Hatch End and Beaconsfield two showrooms dealing with architects, end users and professionals. Role will entail working from plans, surveying properties, designing projects ready for support team to place orders, liaising with installation team and end user alongside showroom support, site survey and client quality check meetings. Occasional travel to central London showroom for staff meetings.

Holidays: 20 days increasing to 25 plus Bank Holidays

Working hours: Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 5.30pm

Saturday: 10.00am – 4.00 pm

Working week to include most Saturdays, with a day off during the week in lieu.

Evening events and appointments may be required from time to time.

Excellent communication skills

Sales and negotiation experience

Knowledge of high spec kitchen products

Self motivated, enthusiastic and able to work with colleagues

Good organisational skills

Interest in design, architecture, interior design and the kitchen industry

Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, 2020 Fusion or similar CAD software

Full driving licence
