The customer’s previous kitchen was similar in layout, but she was frustrated by the storage options it offered and wanted her new design to incorporate lots of clever ideas. With access through doors at either end of the unorthodox triangular-shaped room, the customer was clear that she wanted the exterior of the kitchen to blend well with the rooms to which it led.

Pale ceramic AlnoStar Cera cabinetry in Oxide Avorio was therefore teamed with Cashmere Grey oak-effect units to ensure the look remained neutral.

The wall hung tambour unit was my solution to the customer’s request for a sleek, linear design with a sense of openness and light. The room was too small for an island or table, so I created this extended shelf that runs in line with the bottom of the tambour front and acts as a breakfast bar.

This kitchen was designed and installed at a property in Surbiton, Surrey by the team at our Wigmore Street Kitchen Showroom.
