2024 Design Trends

Here are our 3 must DO’s when you’re designing your kitchen in 2024…and beyond, from our Head of Design, Graham Robinson.

1. Make it PERSONAL

A kitchen is a long-term investment in your home, so you must love it for years to come. There’s nothing wrong with taking inspiration from trends, but try to focus on your own unique style to infuse your personality into your design choices.

2. FUNCTION before form

A beautiful kitchen that irritates you with minor niggles is not the one! Start by thinking about what is most important to you in your kitchen. If you’re an avid baker, you might want an area of your kitchen to be dedicated to baking, in which you can hide away appliances behind pocket doors. Or, if you’re a regular entertainer, two dishwasher drawers are a great solution!

3. Invest in what matters to YOU

If you don’t cook, there’s no point in buying an advanced functioning oven, splurge on a beautiful wood or stone door instead! But if you love to cook beautiful produce and experiment with fragrant spices and fresh foods, a high performance extractor is essential.
